The whole setup took one semester to assemble and a second to fine-tune. The sonoluminescent light is very faint and so requires complete darkness to see. The only thing that can increase this is to bring the water closer to its anomaly point of +4° Celsius. However, at room temperature, it has the beautiful quality of appearing as faint starlight when seen.
