This article got passed around this morning. I recommend ignoring the authors approach / intentions and focusing instead on the article until it leads up to the point he discusses infinity.

Why Can’t We Divide by Zero?

( read / skim the first part of that )

I think it’s rich that dividing by 0 ( as in x/0 ), in a single grade-school-math step, takes us right into the heart of the orders of infinity! I feel this can go an easy and powerful way to open the imagination to the realm of infinity.  It may even so-easily allow some glimpse of the ‘mechanics’ of Zero, as a kind of infinity (nothing) that then divides other infinities.

This trick thinking in more detail on this may come from the secondary-abstraction of saying that x/0 equals some value r. x/0 = r As Zero is an infinity, the solution ( r ) becomes an infinity of the order x. This order could be any number, even another infinity – which I think takes us into the countable, uncountable and infinite Infinities. If x=7 then r is an infinity of a countable order. If x=(some form of infinity) then r is an infinity of the infinite-order x.

Intuitively, this feels like it sets the stage for a linking, or network, of the infinities.

I’d like to start a consideration.

Starting today, be very considerate of what water you drink.  Water has a memory, and can be encoded with states of life – an essence that affects all in which it later comes in contact.  Alien species, looking to establish their position upon the Earth, would have the option to affect the water.  By encoding it with their intent, an alien species could begin to expose us to their presence – their nature – what it means for their energy to be here on the Earth.  By exposing humans in this way the aliens become ‘de-alienized’ – so that subsequent exposure to them is less shocking.

Such a water encoding programme may also occur with certain intent.  It is possible, and perhaps inevitable, that the hopes, fear, ambitions, vices, beauties, and other natures of an alien species would enter the memory of water.  Whether benign or malevolent, any person would be wise to consider what it is that make them human, and what it is that makes them the being as which they understand themselves.  These things may be under tectonic forces as we would become exposed to alien energies.

Know that you have the ability to chose what comes into your system unaltered, and what will transmute alchemically prior to entry.  Your ritualization and intent will determine the structure of your system.  

Consider that any product line, name brand, or other source of water may come from the orchestrations of an alien species.

How exalted, our heart, when celebration is liberated from fear.  The world returns edenic, and we walk naked between the folds of our sensation.  By sacrificing our separateness to the divine appetite, telepathic communion makes limber the footsteps of our passion.

The centerpiece of the exhibit is a boat that, through the act of rowing, energizes lights in the enfolding space to illuminate delicate photographic cels.

The work directly names the existence of an ephemeral, if not transcendent, aether capacitated within all life around us. The rhythmic work…. of a being alive… metabolizes and enriches that unseen nature around us into visibility. The work suggests our evolution – of a new sensory organ by which we may know the world.

With each stroke the space pulses with the evidential glow of life. The work, like a simulacra, reenacts the same vital process that we perform at each breath – the cultivation of life. This respiration evokes awareness, regardless of the artifice, that the world around us is desperately sensitive to all of our actions.

An image that is deeply compelling to me here is that of an individual’s intentional action invigorating connection with a subtle, mostly unseen reality.  The metaphor speaks of shamanism, where the spirit world comes intersects more transparently with the ‘normal’ world.  Like each step being a prayer upon the earth, or each paddle stroke in the water being invocation for blessed relations, so we may imagine how any action may participate in a structure connectedness.I imagine paddles with script or other patterned consciousness filleting into a subtle grain of the world.

What a quirk: mainstream science may have lacked the ability to project the catalysis of HHO (a hydrogen gas useful as fuel) because it discarded an old alchemical concept; the phlogiston.  

The phlogiston is the essential energy / character expressed in the combustion process.  It is independent from the substance(s) flowing through the combustion.  Water may be said to have no inherent phlogiston.  However, the resonant RF devices that make HHO devise a way to phlogisticate water.  

If science had retained the concept that things could be phlogisticated then someone may have thought ‘hey perhaps we can phlogisticate water’ i.e. make it burn.

The use of the term in sense 1 and the theory connected with it were introduce by Stahl i 1702, in his edition of Beccher’s Physica Subterranea of 1669:  
 1702 G. E. STAHL Spec. Beccherianum I. I. xvi. 19 in B.’s Phys. Subterr. (1732), Ad substantiam ipsam mixti, ut ingrediens..ut materiale principium, et pars totius compositi constitutiva, concurrit, materia et principium ignis, non ipse ignis: Ego Phlogiston appellare cpi.   
 The phrase ‘esse φλογιστόν’ had been used by Sennert in the sense ‘the being flammable’, i.e. flammability or combustibility as a quality of some substances, but not regarded as a substance or principle: 
 1619 D. SENNERTUS De Chym. Consensu ac Dissensu 283 At Colores, Odores, Sapores, esse φλογιστόν & similia alia, mineralibus, metallis, gemmis lapidibus, plantis, animalibus insunt. 
 The existence of phlogiston was denied by Lavoisier in 1775, and though stoutly maintained by Priestley, the belief in it was generally abandoned by 1800.
